Perelini “Coach Lini” Bush is a Southern California native now living in Atlanta, Georgia. She is entering her sixth season as the Varsity Head Softball Coach at The Lovett School, where she’s built a competitive, playoff-bound program rooted in development, discipline, and love for the game.
Since 2020, Coach Lini has led Lovett to:
87-59 overall record
3 Region Championships
5 straight playoff appearances
GHSA 2-AA State Runner-Up finish (2020)
4 All-State and 7 All-Region players
Named Region Coach of the Year (2020, 2021)
Selected as 2022 GA Dugout Club All-Star Coach
Coach Lini currently coaches:
Athletics Gold Tamborra/Orebaugh 9U (Co-Head Coach)
Athletics Gold Tamborra 16U (Assistant Coach)
She previously coached Atlanta Vipers 08-Tamborra, earning an 82-22-5 record and championships at the Tournament of Champions and Florida Fastpitch Classic.
Since 2017, she has worked as a hitting and defense instructor at Champions Fastpitch Academy with Stacy Tamborra, and serves as a Showcase Director for Champions College Summer Showcases.
She has helped develop and mentor 35+ athletes who have gone on to play at top programs including: Arizona, UCLA, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Auburn, Duke, GA Tech, Dartmouth, Samford, JAX, KSU, and more.
Coach Lini has coached at the NCAA level with:
Emory University – 25-13 overall, 8-6 in conference
Cal Lutheran University – Offensive coordinator; worked with catchers and outfielders
Coach Lini starred at the University of Arizona, finishing her career with:
45 home runs (12th all-time in program history)
3× All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention
Pac-10 All-Freshman Team
Multiple walk-off grand slams in NCAA postseason play
She earned a B.A. in Psychology (Arizona, 2012) and a Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration (Concordia, 2018).
Her championship experience includes:
ASA 18 Gold National Champion with Worth Firecrackers under Tony Rico
Developed by top coaches: the late Norm Perez, Ed Nabayan (SoCal Quakes), the late Mark Campbell (USA Athletics), and Doug Meyers (OC Batbusters)
ASA National Championships at 12U, 14U, and 16U levels
Coach Lini is passionate about building strong, confident student-athletes through competitive excellence, detailed instruction, and character development. Her goal is to empower athletes to thrive on the field—and beyond.
